Dances for Solidarity-Denver

Dances for Solidarity-Denver meets 2x a month, on Sunday evenings, at Lighthouse Writers Workshop. Follow us on Facebook for meeting details and updates.

We have begun working on our first performance project co-choreographed by our pen pals in solitary confinement. Stay tuned for our Denver performance in spring 2018. Contact Patrycja if you would like to get involved in event planning, our 2018 performance projects, and/or building community partnerships to transcend the punishment paradigm. Ideas/questions/feedback welcome at dancesforsolidaritydenver@gmail.com

We are grateful for our letter writers, pen-pals, and the work of community partners WEBS of Support, Denver Justice Project, Dance To Be Free, Creative Strategies for Change, Titwrench Collective, Lighthouse Writers Workshop, and Black & Pink.

Read writing from some Denver-based collaborators in Captured Words, Free Thoughts.
